FAQs

How do I prepare for the appointment?

Ensure all make-up has been thoroughly washed off before the appointment using an oil-free make-up remover. This way, the appointment time can be focused on your application.

What happens during the application?

First, we start with a consultation to determine which lash extension style will be used to achieve your personalized look. Then you’ll be lying down comfortably with your eyes closed for the duration of the appointment. Your bottom lashes will be protected with either a Lint-Free Hypoallergenic eyepad or medical foam tape. You’ll be so relaxed, that you might even fall asleep.

How are they applied?

Using careful technique, your natural lashes will be enhanced one lash at a time. A medical-adhesive is used which dries completely in 10 minutes, and you’ll have your choice of using synthetic, silk, or mink extensions.

How long do they last?

Lashes have a natural growth cycle and shed over time, so fills are recommended to keep your lashes looking full. With proper care and regular touch ups you can continue to wear your look for as long as you like. Most book their touch ups every 2-4 weeks to keep up with the natural growth cycle and avoid having to rebook another full set. To count as a fill they must still be at least 50% full.

How will they feel on me?

The extensions feel so lightweight and natural you won’t even notice they are there.

How do I care for them?

The following care instructions will help you keep the extensions for as long as possible:

  • Use only oil-free products (make-up remover, eye shadow, face creams, etc.)
  • Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 2 hours
  • Avoid swimming, bathing and using saunas for the first 2 hours
  • Wait 2 hours before using mascara – do not use waterproof mascara
  • Do not use an eyelash curler, perm or tint your lashes
  • Do not pick, pull or rub your extensions
  • Try sleeping on your back to keep from crushing your lashes

Will they damage my natural lashes?

No. The careful application technique and medical-adhesive are proven to be gentle on your lashes. In case of allergic reaction, contact your doctor immediately.
